OTHER: This is professor’s comment: You have the beginnings of a decent paper. I especially like the way that you start to articulate American ideals. That said, however, I think that your paper can be even better. Specifically, and first, your articulation of American ideals would be more effective if these same ideals were problematized by you—ie, placed in a more critical light. Second, your paper contains absolutely no cites, not to mention a bibliography. (For the lack of cites, and a bib, I am not able to give you credit for this assignment at this time.) Third, There are a number of inaccurate statements and statements that are non sequiturs. (Eg, the last two sentences of paragraph two suggest that there is supposed to be a contrast offered but they really sound the same. You write: “When a country associates well with neighbors, the citizen tend to think positively of political activities of the government.” You write: “Once it practices equality in matters regarding job opportunities, employment and so on, the residents ten to have concurring opinions about politics and the rule.” You write: “Once they transfer the economic economic factors from the public sector to the private sector, this enables the society to view politics from the negative perspective.”) In addition, where is the evidence re that BF supported free trade. Also, “Jefferson Thomas…” In any event, the assignment of credit is not possible at this moment. Feel free to email me if you have questions or concerns. Best, P.
